PHILLIP J. JOHNSON
Graduate of Loyola University and Chicago Kent College of Law, Mr. Johnson has practiced in the area of Workers Compensation Law since 1970. His experience includes representing injured workers throughout the State of Illinois. Mr. Johnson was appointed by three Illinois Attorney’s General as Special Assistant Attorney General for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. Litigation experience includes presentation of over 200 cases per year since 1970 before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission in various venues throughout the State of Illinois. Mr. Johnson has also appeared before the Illinois Appellate Court on numerous occasions to present oral argument on various points of law interpreting the Workers Compensation Act. Mr. Johnson served as the past President of the Compensation Lawyers Association, he has been a guest speaker and the Chicago Bar Association and given multiple seminars on the subject of Workers Compensation Law for various legal organizations.
